London Wrap: Crude jumps 6.8% as metals slide

Platinum surged 4.3% and crude added over 2% while the DAX, CAC and Euro Stoxx 50 all shed more than 1.2%. Polkadot led a crypto pullback.
Crude jumped over 2% while gold fell 1.16% and European indices closed lower. Polkadot surged 17% and palladium shed 4.11%.
The yen strengthened broadly as JPY crosses fell around 1%, Polkadot led a mixed crypto tape up 8.9%, and platinum added 1.2%.
Crude oil surged over 4% while precious metals sold off hard and European equities closed broadly lower as the London session wound down.
Cardano and Ethereum led a crypto bounce while the Euro Stoxx 50 fell 1.1% and platinum group metals tumbled. Oil extended its weekly gain.
European indices closed mostly firmer as USOil rose 1.42% and UKOil 1.35%, while Wall Street softened and the Nikkei shed 1.5%.
The dollar gained broadly into the London close as Ethereum climbed 2.2% and gold eased 0.8%. Nasdaq 100 led equities higher.
Brent fell 5.12% and Cardano led crypto lower as European equities ground higher, with the Nikkei up 1.39% and the DAX adding 0.59%.
