The US Congressional Elections result landed at 15:16 UTC on 3 November, and in the 14 minutes since, a cluster of dollar-quoted crypto majors edged higher. Polygon led by a clear margin, rising 1.3% while the rest of the field barely stirred.
Where crypto moved after the US vote
Polygon (MATUSD) was the standout, climbing from 0.09055 to 0.09175, a 1.3% gain that outpaced every other instrument on the feed.
The Graph (GRTUSD) followed at a distance, up 0.5% from 0.01965 to 0.01975. Solana (SOLUSD) added 0.4%, moving from 93.005 to 93.42, and Chainlink (LNKUSD) rose 0.4% from 11.0825 to 11.1275.
The smaller end of the move was quieter still. Tezos (XTZUSD) firmed 0.3% from 0.2492 to 0.25005, and Litecoin (LTCUSD) rounded out the set with a 0.2% rise from 54.05 to 54.16.
What the reaction shows
The reaction concentrated almost entirely in Polygon. Its 1.3% move was about two and a half times the next-largest gain, while the remaining five instruments clustered in a muted 0.2% to 0.5% band.
Away from that single standout, the response to the release read as subdued: a uniform, shallow drift higher across the rest of the crypto names rather than a broad surge. Direction was consistent β every tracked instrument rose β but the size of the move was carried by one name.
