Fed Chairman Warsh spoke at 03:30 UTC on 16 October, and the clearest reaction in our feed was in crypto: Uniswap (UNIUSD) led the move, slipping 1.28% in the window since the release.
Where the crypto moved
Uniswap was the standout, easing from 7.4205 to 7.3255 β the only move past one percent on the board.
Bitcoin Cash (BCHUSD) followed, down 0.48% from 277.225 to 275.90. Litecoin (LTCUSD) moved in step, slipping 0.40% from 60.935 to 60.69.
Tezos (XTZUSD) was the lone gainer, ticking up 0.32% from 0.31255 to 0.31355.
The metals barely registered. Palladium (XPDUSD) edged down 0.07% from 1140.605 to 1139.795, and silver (XAGUSD) was all but unchanged at 57.5295, off 0.05% from 57.557.
What the reaction shows
The response concentrated in crypto, and within that, in a single name. Uniswap’s 1.28% slide was several times larger than any other move on the board, while Bitcoin Cash and Litecoin drifted lower together in a tighter range.
Outside crypto, the reaction was muted to the point of absence: palladium and silver held within a whisker of their pre-release levels, and Tezos leaned the other way entirely. The picture is a narrow, crypto-led softening rather than a broad repricing across the instruments we track.
