Tezos leads the book into the new session, up 5.06% to $0.2884 β the single largest move on the day. The strength runs broad across crypto, while the FX majors barely register and crude trades as the clear soft spot.
Crypto
The gainers list is almost entirely digital assets. Behind Tezos, Stellar added 2.88% to $0.20173, Uniswap rose 2.34% to $7.764 and The Graph gained 2.24% to $0.0274 β the last up 52.22% on the month. Bitcoin Cash climbed 1.59% to $284.11, now 25.56% higher over that stretch.
The majors firmed more modestly. Bitcoin sits at $83,330.64, up 0.52%, and Ethereum at $2,520.58, up 0.68%. Both remain lower on the week β BTC -2.82%, ETH -6.96% β so the green marks a bounce inside a down week rather than a break higher. XRP was flat at $1.4013.
Polkadot was the lone notable red, off 0.72% to $1.246, though it still holds a 22.64% month gain. That split β soft weeks, firm months β runs across the space.
Currencies
The majors are quiet. EUR/USD eased 0.12% to 1.11847, GBP/USD slipped 0.04% to 1.32255 and USD/JPY held at 158.25. The antipodeans softened a touch, AUD/USD -0.17% at 0.69712 and NZD/USD -0.15% at 0.56021.
The day’s biggest FX move was the rand: USD/ZAR fell 0.52% to 16.415, extending a 1.32% weekly decline. USD/TRY ticked up 0.59% to 49.21, 17.69% higher on the year.
The session calm masks a firmer dollar over the month: EUR/USD is down 3.54% and NZD/USD 3.59%, with USD/CAD up 2.89% to 1.42719.
Equities and crude
Hang Seng was the standout outside crypto, up 2.09% to 24,346.36. Other moves were small and green β Euro Stoxx 50 +0.58%, Nasdaq 100 +0.43% and the S&P 500 +0.17% at 7,829.28, the latter up 18.14% on the year. The Nikkei added 0.19% to 69,028.43 and is 48.33% higher over twelve months.
Oil was the drag. UKOil fell 1.12% to $101.55 and USOil 0.83% to $90.21, though both sit higher on the week. Gold was little changed at $4,190.32 and silver firmed 0.18% to $60.93, still off 5.48% on the month.
Into the day, crude is the session’s weak spot while crypto’s bounce stays inside a negative week.
