Crypto led the selling into the US close, with the biggest-mover board filled entirely by digital assets. Tezos (XTZUSD) fell 7.62% to $0.2835 and Polkadot (DOTUSD) dropped 7.6% to $1.106, matched by Uniswap (UNIUSD) at $7.907.

Crypto

The red ran deep across the sector. The Graph (GRTUSD) lost 6.92% to $0.0269 and Stellar (XLMUSD) shed 6.33% to $0.1983, with Stellar now down 9.31% on the week. The majors offered no cover: Bitcoin (BTCUSD) eased 2.66% to $83,266.88, Ethereum (ETHUSD) fell 4.78% to $2,568.03, and XRP dropped 5.43% to $1.4146. Dogecoin (DOGUSD) slid 5.45% to $0.0884 and Solana (SOLUSD) gave back 4.05% to $115.75.

Uniswap’s week stands out at -11.93%, the deepest seven-day slide among the losers. Several names still hold longer-horizon gains, however β€” Tezos is up 26.85% over 30 days and The Graph 40.1%, even after today’s drop.

Metals

The platinum group took the hardest hit outside crypto. Platinum (XPTUSD) dropped 4.53% to $1,633.42 and palladium (XPDUSD) fell 4.41% to $1,125.00, extending monthly declines of 10.52% and 16.29% respectively. Silver (XAGUSD) lost 2.5% to $59.78 and gold (XAUUSD) eased 1.35% to $4,109.93.

Gold is now down 5.52% on the month, though it holds a 2.45% gain over the year; silver, despite its slide, remains up 22.66% across twelve months.

Equities and the dollar

Index boards were uniformly lower. The IBEX 35 (ES35) and Nikkei 225 (JP225) each fell 1.51%, to 19,132.28 and 69,626.25, while the Hang Seng (HK50) lost 1.23% and the DAX 40 (DE40) 0.98%. US benchmarks held up better: the S&P 500 (US500) slipped just 0.38% to 7,797.76 and the Nasdaq 100 (UT100) 0.27% to 31,154.19, both still carrying weekly gains of 1.56% and 1.89%.

The dollar firmed against most of the board. USD/PLN rose 0.66% to 3.90832 and USD/CZK 0.54%, while USD/CAD added 0.3% to 1.42551 and USD/DKK 0.49%. On the other side, EUR/USD fell 0.54% to 1.1191, GBP/USD 0.43% to 1.3208, and EUR/JPY 0.69% to 176.91.

Crude stayed soft, with USOil off 1.02% to $88.27 and down 4.02% on the week, and UKOil easing 0.36% to $99.58. Against a session defined by the crypto rout and the metals unwind, energy was the quieter corner of the tape.
