The trading day opens with crypto marked down across the board β€” every one of the session’s five steepest falls sits in the digital-asset column.

Crypto

GRTUSD leads the declines, off 15.13% to $0.0303, though it is still up 90.57% on the month. UNIUSD dropped 9.04% to $8.803, Polkadot fell 7.67% to $1.167, and Bitcoin Cash lost 7.44% to $307.39 β€” all three still carry heavy monthly gains (UNI +71.70%, DOT +42.84%, BCH +26.46%). Cardano (-3.93% to $0.2445), Solana (-3.12% to $118.09) and Dogecoin (-3.31% to $0.0935) filled out a red screen.

The majors held up better. Bitcoin eased 1.21% to $83,422.26 and Ethereum was near-flat at $2,680.62, down just 0.26%; XRP slipped 1.58% to $1.4912. All three remain higher on the month.

Two names bucked the tape. LNKUSD rose 8.62% to $15.224, the biggest gainer anywhere, extending a 36.70% monthly run. Stellar added 5.03% to $0.22623, up 29.82% over the month.

Currencies

The dollar firmed into the open. USDMXN was the standout, up 1.36% to 17.982 and now 3.97% higher on the week. USDCHF gained 0.24% to 0.83139, stretching its monthly advance to 2.82%, while USD/SEK and USD/PLN each sit about 1.1% higher on the week.

EUR/USD slipped 0.08% to 1.13661, down 1.90% on the month. GBP/USD edged up 0.21% to 1.32529 but is 2.10% lower over the same stretch. USD/JPY was steady at 157.36, and AUD/USD ticked up 0.13% to 0.70168.

Metals

The precious complex sold off hard. Silver dropped 4.84% to $60.63, now down 10.02% on the week. Gold fell 3.43% to $4,114.46, off 7.71% on the month but still 7.35% higher on the year. Palladium lost 2.84% to $1,220.62 and platinum eased 2.52% to $1,723.54, deepening monthly declines of 15.08% and 5.96%.

Elsewhere

Equity benchmarks leaned lower, the Nasdaq 100 off 0.97% to 30,271.70 and the S&P 500 down 0.51% to 7,683.31. The Nikkei 225 fell 0.92% to 65,877.59, while the Hang Seng bucked the mood with a 0.66% gain to 24,671.76. Crude held its ground β€” USOil at $91.95 and UKOil at $98.15, both up more than 45% on the year.

Crypto and the metals complex remain the session’s clear weak spots as the day gets underway.
