A subdued session into the London close, with the day’s biggest swings confined to lightly-traded crypto and a firmer Nikkei 225. Most majors barely moved.

The dollar softened modestly against emerging-market names: USD/MXN fell 0.31% to 16.966, USD/ZAR dropped 0.27% to 16.13, and USD/NOK eased 0.14%. USD/CAD was steady at 1.3874.
Crypto
The majors drifted. Bitcoin held at 62,946.63, down 0.11% and 1.50% lower on the week. Ethereum slipped 0.14% to 1,877.73, while BNB fell 0.52% to 603.41. XRP eased 0.40% to 0.997.
The sharpest moves came from the small caps: XTZ dropped 1.80% and GRT fell 1.50%, both deep in the red over the month at -15.20% and -22.02%. UNI bucked the trend, up 1.05% to 3.2715 despite a 17.03% weekly decline.
Into the New York handover, the Nikkei’s run and the crypto tail remain the session’s clearest divergences from an otherwise flat tape.
