The United States Producer Price Index (PPI) and Core PPI reports landed at 12:30 UTC on 13 August 2026, and the immediate reaction across dollar-denominated crypto pairs was a modest slip. UNIUSD led the move lower, easing 0.57% in the minutes that followed.
Where the USD moved
UNIUSD saw the sharpest reaction, falling from 3.5085 to 3.4885, a drop of 0.57% against the dollar.
GRTUSD followed, slipping from 0.0137 to 0.01365, a decline of 0.37%.
AXSUSD eased 0.23%, moving from 0.8655 to 0.8635, while DOGUSD ticked down 0.14% from 0.07015 to 0.07005.
The smaller-cap moves rounded out the picture: ADAUSD softened 0.11% from 0.18335 to 0.18315, and DOTUSD was near flat, down 0.07% from 0.7700 to 0.7695.
What the reaction shows
The reaction concentrated at the top of the list, with UNIUSD and GRTUSD carrying most of the movement while the remaining pairs barely budged. Every instrument on our feed moved in the same direction β lower against the dollar β but the magnitudes were small.
With no move larger than 0.6% and several under a fifth of a percent, the broad response to the PPI release reads as muted. The uniform, shallow pullback suggests a measured shift rather than a decisive repricing across these crypto pairs.
