The US ISM Manufacturing PMI landed at 14:00 UTC on 3 August 2026, and the sharpest reaction across our crypto feed came from Cardano, which slipped in the 30 minutes that followed.

Where the crypto majors moved

ADAUSD was the standout mover, down 2.523% to 0.18935 from 0.19425 at the release.

SOLUSD edged the other way, rising 0.458% to 73.505 from 73.17.

BNBUSD firmed modestly, up 0.192% to 589.735 from 588.605, while LNKUSD ticked 0.103% higher to 8.2835 from 8.275.

On the softer side, GRTUSD eased 0.34% to 0.01465 from 0.0147, and BCHUSD dipped 0.114% to 210.935 from 211.175.

What the reaction shows

The response was concentrated almost entirely in Cardano, which stood well apart from the rest of the field. Every other instrument moved less than half a percent in either direction.

With Solana, BNB and Chainlink nudging higher while Graph and Bitcoin Cash edged lower, there was no uniform direction across the group. Outside ADA, the reaction reads as muted rather than decisive.

That split leaves Cardano’s roughly 2.5% slide as the single notable move in the half hour after the print, against a backdrop of otherwise contained trading.
