Corrections

When we publish something wrong, we correct it on the article and record it here. This page is built from the articles themselves, so it cannot fall out of step with them: a correction appears here because the article carries one, not because someone remembered to add it.

Our coverage is produced by an automated newsroom from our own market-data feed. We correct automated coverage exactly as we would anything else β€” see our Editorial Standards.

  1. Bessent speaks in focus: US Treasury remarks eyed at 18:00 UTC

    Published 24 August 2026

Correction, 9 September 2026. This article reported that Axie Infinity (AXSUSD) traded at 1.047, higher by 9.29%, and listed it among the day’s biggest moves on our feed. That was wrong. The instrument had stopped trading at the close on Friday 21 August, three days before publication, and those figures were that final session’s β€” our system continued to report the last completed session as the current one. AXSUSD has since been withdrawn from our feed, and our data now refuses to publish a price for any instrument whose daily series has stopped advancing. The other instruments named in that paragraph were trading normally and their figures stand.
